Hey Folks it is me again with another Question :)
I was wondering if the Null Sec Corporations out there are also looking for Explorers. I like to Scan a lot and was thinking that i can be of good use for Mapping around the area where a Corporation Operate via Siggy or so.
Have low PvP Skill though. What will be my chances ? Or do you know any Corps where i can get in Contact with.
Have decent Skiff Skills also Caldari Cruiser 4 Shield and RLML
Good Core Skills and also a bunchof SP in Scanning/Hacking

Signal Cartel is the biggest exploration corp I think. Also full of good advice and help.

As for null, look in the recruitment thread, I'm sure you'll fit in somewhere...Provi maybe.

Solecist Project...." They refuse to play by the rules and laws of the game and use it as excuse ..." " They don't care about how you play as long as they get to play how they want."

Welcome to EVE.

This game, anyone can train any skill.

So corps don't recruit based on "need" (if they need any ship or skill they can just train it).

They recruit based on your personality, and how you get along with them.

If they like you, and you want to explore, they'll help you do it.

I think some big null alliances pay scanners a lot of money to find wormholes for logistics. Not sure how you get on this privileged list tho, but your skills seem suited to null sec already.

You can mine during quiet times and fleet up with a rapid light caracal during cta

SC isn't about competition, yes it's a big corp and their hq is in Thera, but the members are literally scattered all over the eve universe. You'll get to explore wherever you want and get great advice for good skills.

I was in two different sovereignty holding nullsec alliances and I was the one who was always probing and it was definitely appreciated by the alliance when I found that rare route to highsec. I often got tipped, one guy was so desperate for a road to highsec, he gave me 100 million ISK! (Your results may vary) Blink

When you get good and familiar with how the game works and you start using third party sites to map your wormhole chain out, it's like pulling teeth getting people to actually sign up for tripwire or siggy I've found. I felt like I was constantly nagging when alliance directors were always asking me where the wormhole was and where it leads. Always would tell them it's all there on tripwire.

Also, unless you're in a corporation, sharing bookmarks is a giant pain.

I don't agree with the suggestion that Signal Cartel is what you're looking for.

Good corps do this, I hear.

Some of them put a hefty minimum SP requirement on, thinking you will magically learn how not to be a free kill after a few thousand L4 missions. This doesn't usually work out very well. It works out even worse for them when the wardecs hit if they see negative security status and run away.

From my experience the minimum SP requirements are typically put there to eliminate the ability of someone to use a throw away alt for corp infiltration.

Granted it does not 100% eliminate the ability of someone with ill intent to infiltrate your corp however forcing someone to have to spend a PLEX or two on the character does eliminate a fair portion of the would be spies and infiltrators.

To restate more clearly SP minimums have little to nothing to do with what the actual skill points do for the character and more to do with the investment ( be it RL money or isk via PLEX ) that it forces someone to make.
