Problem: Corp Member Activity (Last Online Status) is not accurate enough...

Details: Some corps have an activity requirement, and to keep this activity requirement up they refer to the Last Online to see when members are on and offline. The current system though it does work (Sort of) shows a player's activity in a much less accurate way once it reaches roughly one week it will say something like "Last week" or "More than one week" or "More than a Month"

Solution: Change the Last online counter so that it shows the activity in the form of Hours and days for example: If a player has been offline for say 4 hours it will show Last online 4 hours ago (As it currently does) however if the player was last online a week ago instead of saying "Last online: Last week" the counter will say "Last online: 7 days ago", and if a player is offline for lets say 3 months instead of saying "Last Online: More than a Month" the counter will say "Last online: 90 days ago" and if a player is offline for a year and a half the counter will say "Last Online 547 days ago" This to me is a much clearer and more accurate tool for everyone involved.

I posted this once before but I was not clear enough in how I had worded it, plus that thread is lost to time so rather than bumping a dead thread I reworked this and made myself clearer on how this could be addressed. Please discuss this idea.

I think you are under the mistaken impression that I am a CEO or Director, I am neither. I am just a player who sees the Last online status inaccuracy as annoying more than anything, sure it says the date and time but that is beside the point, it isn't really asking a whole lot for something to be a bit more accurate than More than a month and sure it is simple to extrapolate a date of inactivity on your own but it is nice to be able to just look and see oh this person has been offline for 45 days rather than having to spend time calculating how many days someone has been offline. I don't even bother because there are more things in eve to do than that. All this does is make it so people can spend less time doing something like this for whatever reason there is and more time actually enjoying this amazing game. Simple data like that should be provided anyway not made to be hunted down.

I am not saying that I agree with a required level of activity in no way shape or form but the fact remains that there are corporations out there that require a level of activity it does happen. At any rate, let's take this down from a corporate level and make it just a player level, let's say you are in a corp that doesn't have the requirement (Likely scenario) and you and a friend are in the same corporation and for whatever reason you want to know how long your friend has been offline it is a much simpler thing to look in and see that your friend has been offline for 45 days rather than sitting there having to do the math this game is already complicated as it is, it doesn't need to be even more complicated by making people figure out online/offline statuses when it can be simply stated in the form of numbers as explained above.

Exactly what "free Intel" are you talking about ? The only people who can see activity such as that, are the people who are actually in the same corporation as you are and at any rate seeing how long someone has been offline. Being able to see days rather than words isn't going to change the way the game plays or how the game feels, EVE is a harsh environment and has been since. The reasoning of oh "be online and you will know" is complete bs because Real life does get in the way sometimes and not everyone is able to be on because of that. seeing days instead of "more than a month is not really giving anyhting aways.
