I turn auto reload and when I click it it loads the bay but once I launch the probes and then collect them I have to click auto-relaod on again for it to work. Please let me know. Thanks...

Carry 8 extra. It only tries to auto-reload once (after you "fire" the launcher).

It only tries to auto-reload when the charges are expended (you launch the probes). If you don't have any probes left in cargo then you'll have to reload manually once they're recovered.

I'm going to build a big wall that will keep the Gallente out, and they're going to pay for it!

also remember you cannot reload while cloaked even if the reload animation is already in process.

You must be decloaked for the entire duration for it to finish

Yeah, reload while warping around the system.

This.

I tend to carry four sets of Core Probes and three sets of Combat Probes in my Buzzard. The expanded probe launcher can hold several sets of Core probes at once, which can be useful when trying to quickly probe out multiple systems.

The extra Combats are for the aforementioned reloading benefit and also for those frequent times when I derp and let my probes expire.

This is excessive. You're doing something wrong if you have any sort of probe, nevermind combat probes, out for an hour or more. Nor should you be leaving sets of Core probes in systems you jump out of.

I carry one set of Combat Probes and they are always Sisters Combat probes. If I lose them I return to base to restock.

I carry two sets of Core Probes, only to guard against the possibility of losing one set while inside a Wormhole and still needing to find my way out. The spare set are regular Core Probes which are good enough to find WH exits. The first set are Sisters Core Probes. If I ever lose the first set (assuming I'm in a WH) I go straight to base without passing 'go' to replace them.

Plan for the emergency loss, not the routine loss and you will quickly learn to look after them. I think I've permanently lost probes once.

I reload while in warp to the next system gate/WH, after recovering them. If the exit is too close, I align first, then drop cloak to start the reload before hitting warp.
