Wanted Oneiros to support Shield fleet

Looking for suggestions for Oneiros fit to support mainly shield fleet.

Please assume Tech II / Faction modules and all related skills at V.

It's probably safe for me to interpret Viktor's response as "you asked me to answer a nonsensical question."

I've done that before, once even in real life...but my wife eventually forgave me for that one. She did say "don't let it happen again." I did and it was not a pretty sight. But, two times in 31 years is not too shabby, eh.

However, I am committed to achieving, before I die, perfect knowledge, gained without external resources, about all things Eve.

Oneiros is an armor logi ship. Not shield.

And further information, the shield equivalent that you're looking for is the scimitar, minmatar ship. Oni/scim are self-stable for cap, guardian/basi are 'chain' stable, they generate cap out of thin air using their bonus to cap transfers and a 'cap partner'.

For the future, the easiest way to tell what a ship is good for is to read its bonuses.

If you need help determining a fit for anything let me know, personally most of my enjoyment of the game comes from min/maxing ship fittings.

The contrast in responses was worth a material "thank you" to me.

So,

I do know I've got a solid Oneiros for armor. I'm going to go ahead and head toward the scimi.

So, no rush, but an excellent scimi fit or two, per my op will be welcomed.

Sorry to hijack the thread like that, but If that is true then I have been looking for you for a long time lol, can I buy you as a personal EFT (or whatever you use) Warrior for myself?

There is several ships I need help with, my PvE Rattingsnake is just one, Entosis Falcon another!

Since you said 'fleet' I'm assuming you mean a logi that is buffer fit and catches reps from other ships rather than self rep fit, let me know if that's wrong.

The standard buffer fit scimi is:

Technically not cap stable but you're pretty much never going to be turning on all four reppers and going AFK so it's plenty of cap.

For 50m more you can drop one power relay and the reactor control for a pair of caldari navy power diagnostics. This gives more shield EHP but a smidge less cap, and of course the higher price. Still, the cap is well within 'realistically stable' as mentioned above.

I assumed he was asking about PvE. But for PvP this is what you'd be going towards.

For C3's a Scimi with an XL ASB is enough, stop shield transfers and agro moves off you very quickly. And its very easy to fit if your using deadspace med transporters.

In that case, I suggest you use a spider tank setup. Fit remote cap transfers and local tank on the ships, cap chain each other, and run your reps off the cap chain. You'd want two logi, only one in a sleeper site and the logi will die, and 2 logi in a 5 man fleet is inefficient. If you can tell me more about the ships you want to run I can give you some fits.

C13s are frigate only I believe, so you won't be able to shove an oneiros through :p
