Note that we already have that functionality in-game. It is called a Mobile Scan Inhibitor (small 30 km radius though).

You just gonna debunk mine, or will you post one yourself? Not only are you wrong on two counts (it's not a MSI and there's nothing wrong with copying anchorable functionality onto a module- as in anchorable bubble -- HIC bubble) but you've apparently never seen a miner fleet reship from a ship maintenance hangar either.

Doesn't matter. Just keep posting ideas please- not every single one requires a whole pro-and-con chain. This is a brainstorm, nothing more; treat is as such. Blink

And how long exactly till the big blocks start chain bridging in rorquals to 'invuln' super fleets etc. 2 bill for a rorq is nothing if it invulns a fleet of titans + supers while the next fleet arrives to back em up.

Very disappointed with this plan. Really poor design just waiting to be abused.

Activate this super weapon and completely make itself
and all of its allied mining ships and industrial ships invulnerable.

im going to camp a system in null sec.. easy to do
im going to cloak up and set my bookmarks and nothing can be done about it in null sec.. hahaha you null bears
im going to stay out of range and just watch a fat rorqual and its crew head out to the mining barge.. ill just wait till they begin eating up that dark glitter.. haha miners.. you silly rabbits.. fozzie came up with this idea.. so well.. like a Michael bay movie.. time for EXPLOSIONS!!.

Covert CYNO UP!! ... in comes hell and death to the rorqual and its pets... oh but the rorq pilot is smart.. he has the powaaaaa of greyskull.. he hits his "COME SAVE ME BUTTON"..which in turns locks all the hens in place( hey shouldn't the miners be able to jump out of their ship into defense ships?? oh wait??? ... i just then decide to chill.. cause hell i popped that cyno and now my friend is here with me cloaked up.. just flirting with titan and super pilots since they're all within jump range..
im waiting and waiting for that win button to go down... and tackle that rorqual.. oh its a tasty treat.. thank you fozzie...

they came up with this idea cause they are not and have never been miners.. they dont do the indy thing cause its supplied to them until those rabbits get fed to the sharks.. right now id say its a good time to break the mechanics and begin HOT DROP O'clock once again...

be warned and be very afraid.. campers will make sure the rorq will never ever mine a single rock just due to the stupidity ccp just came up with.
