Game is unplayable - lag too high on Wine

I have not been able to play for a couple of weeks now. There is a several second lag for everything. This only started happening once I switched to Wine. I tried going back to Cider, no luck. The lag gets worse with every additional account I login. My machine is well above the recommended specs. I filed a bug report, have not heard anything in two weeks. Is this happening for anyone else?

This is also my experience. A lot of lag since the last patch. Sometimes 30 seconds worth, making mission running sort of dicy.

Same here - workaround for me was to use windowed mode.

Windowed mode didn't do much for me, but reverting to an earlier wine build did. There is still a bit of lag here and there, but not nearly as bad.

What version did you go to? What are your system specs?

I haven't had any issues since the switch to Wine. However my machine is very new and only a few months old.

Having the same issue ´ish.
Using one client does not lag at all but if i open my second client i get lag, cant use the mouse sometimes and. Typing lags and sometimes i cant look around my ship because the respond time of my mouse is like 10min long.
Hope someone knows a fix for that or can tell meto what wine version i should change.

Also my external sound card does not get any sound out at all from eve..everything else is working via the external sound card. not sure it must be the client.

My system is a MPB early 2011, Nvidia card, i7, 8GB Ram

Still experiencing this lag problem. Had to leave a ship in space because docking was not working either. No 'please wait" just nothing happening. Another account could not undock, would hit the undock button and nothing happened.

Also had another issue where any click of the left mouse button registers as a right mouse button click. The only way to fix this is to shift to another desktop then come back. Have been running the game in window mode.

My system is late 2013 iMac, Nvidia card 4 GB, i5, 16GB ram running OSX 10.11.6

Any work arounds?

Same here. MacBook Air 13,3" Mid 2015 with Intel HD 5000. Has accurate 50 Frames/Sec with Cider. On Wine it drops to 27 Frames and lags like Hell. Switched back to Cider.

I am struggling with this as well. Each time a jump a star gate or dock/undock a station I get around 30sec of lag. Also when I jump a gate, it warps me off 1mil km on the other side. before I can warp to the next gate.

I'm on a 2016 iMac, 3.2 ghz Intel Core i5 with AMD Radeon R9 graphics card. It generally has no problems running the game on max settings.
