It was year 2004 when I first created a free trial account in EVE online. I did not figure out how to undock. I just closed the game and went playing World War Online II (Battleground Europe nowadays, still alive). After about year I came back. Created first character called Wizardd Qvasar. Yes. A typo. Meant to write Quasar. Little later I created an alt called Jonna Qvasar. Not a typo anymore.

After that I have owned over 40 characters and went from mindless mining and mission running into nulsec to fight in massive fleet warfare. I have been a pirate and a trader. I have basically done everything that you can imagine in this game.

Now I am done.

As my last thing in EVE I just added shitload of bounties to random capsuleers.

Thank you CCP, it was fun while it lasted. Maybe you make a new game in next decade. Who knows.

They actually do that, but the window of opportunity is tiny.

First time I've seen a fellow World War II Online - Battleground Europe guy here. I had a lot of great times in that game. All pvp, and you have to be smart and patient to ever kill anything.

Definitely sad to see this.. Would have been better to pick a couple of new players and pass on the years of experience and knowledge to them, along with some 'stuff'.

As for the 40+ characters, I'm sure there's a main one that was used quite extensively. Best course of action would be to keep that account subbed and keep the character training skills. Wouldn't have to log into the game due to the unlimited skill queue and just take a long vacation.

Hope you change your mind and stay with Eve.
