PI processor Output issue

Hi everyone !

First post so please be clement,

I recently modified my PI plan on two of my characters and i noticed a fact i have never noticed before :

There is a gap bewteen my extractors output (per hour and total) when i do my plans and just after i validate it :

Before I launch my plan

Just after i launch my plan (first cycle)

Unfortunately most of the time the expect output is reduced just after i launch my plan ...

Why do this happen ? What is the mechnanism behind this reduction ? Any idea on how i can suppress/reduce it ?

Thank you very much !

How do they two skils work exactly ? I though they were just here to give a more accurate scan result but don't have any direct impact on the prod

Yes but i think i should see it before i lauch the prod not after ?

thank you !

the above skills give you a better reading of hot spots basically allowing you to slide the slider for a specific resource less to the left to get a "hotspot"

as for resource depletion you generally cannot tell until you have stopped the extractor and looked at the numbers associated with it.

Ok thank you !

Following this thread these two skills indeed affect the error margin between what you plan and what you have.

Another simple question : Will i have any penalty if i go for a 2 days plan, cancel it and lauch it again 1 day after ? It's safer for me than just go for a 1 day plan and leave it unproducting for a few hours after the delay ...

The longer you set an extractor the less you get per hour of extraction. If you have a plan to reset once per day then set the extractors to 1 day and 2 hours just in case you have a bit of lag on your reset. That will allow the extractors to continue working and allow you to get the most resource during the day.

As stated above the biggest difference is the amount being harvested degenerates while harvesting but with no indication to you, if you are using many pi alts, like i do, i set for 3 days because its easier for my play style and life.
