How does customs offices actually work? Is its content free for all?

Hi,

I have an alt I've used for PI in a wormhole for some time, and it's been very profitable. I'm currently producing P3 goods on it. Now I'd like to expand this business and make an additional alt, and I'm considering if it'd be worth going for P4 goods. However there are people living in my WH, and it's always a risk moving goods between the planets, so I'm wondering how the customs offices actually work. Can other people take the loot I transfer to it? Can I make the content available to certain people (I.E. corporation members) to make the production chain easier? So I don't have to take it out and put it in again with another character.

Thanks!

No think of them as private hangars, but if the ppl living in the WH own or take ownership of the pocos they can set tax to 100% thus killing your profitability.

Check if the residents also are the owners of the poco.
Check the taxes.

It is likely that they don't mind someone using it as long as it brings isk.

You might want to contact them, but i'd suggest you cloak your playing-time.
That means use webmail to send mails to them, way outside of your usual time logged in.
Can't hurt to take minimal precautions. :)
