118.7 - Issues Thread

The 118.7 release has been deployed successfully!

This thread is for reporting issues regarding the release, which brings contract functionality to citadels, as well as iterations on the visual damage system, PBR for in space assets, improvements to graphics performance in areas that have clouds and more intuitive UI feedback for ship holds.

To report issues with the MAC build, please use this thread.

Please be aware that the in game search function may be unreliable for up to a half hour after release, as part of this update requires Tranquility to online for live re-indexing of a number of tables.


KNOWN ISSUES:

  • Contract: Items in the first division of a corp hangar of a station have no right click option to create a contract. Workaround: Either move to a different corp hangar division or select the item from the 2nd step of the contract creation window.

First attempt at a private Item Exchange contract in a citadel, I'm receiving the following error when attempting to contract some ships to my alt:

'No Owner can be found with "character name" in the beginning of its name.'

I cant search for anything! It always says no results, even when i look for common stuff like the system Rens.

EDIT: Im talking about the people and places window. (Alt + E)

EDIT2: Ermagerd im stranded. How to EVE without search function?

"no enabled local indexes to search"

When searching anything throught the people and places window it always says "No results found" regardless what I tipe in it

i'm REALY miss the old stuff.

It's possible to fly around at 1000km/s using a MWD.

I was able to reproduce this on the test server, see EBR-90206 for instructions.

Just to confirm, any manner of Search function in the game appears to be completely broken.

Edit: nvm just saw Falcon's edit.

After today's patch, I'm getting sound only for the 1st client I start. The 2nd client always starts without sound. ESC menu shows that sound is enabled but nothing can be heard. I'm using Asus STX soundcard and never had any problems with Eve sounds before this.

Update: Starting the 1st Eve client seems to block sounds from anything started after that, not just 2nd Eve client. I tried to run VLC video player after 1st Eve client and VLC lost all sounds. If I ran VLC before the 1st Eve clients, both have normal audio. Maybe with Asus STX soundcard, the 1st Eve client initializes sound in some kind of exclusive mode?

Downloading the patch is taking way too long nearly an hour and still less than 1% anyone else had this problem before because this isn't the first time this has happened.

This is also happening for me on 2 different accounts that worked fine last night. I'm at work so can't bug report/screenshot anything. Just confirming that it is not a one person issue

Edit: If it makes a difference both accounts were docked in a different astrahus. I did try looking for contracts in space on one account but was tethered.

Anomalys, that weren't completed before DT respawn the first wave after DT and the rats you didnt kill before DT remain there. This is a bug that exists for ages now.

Even after the waves spawned before DT were killed, the anomaly still continues to spawn rats even thought it doesn't show up on probe scanner anymore. Bug report filed
