So some one told me CCP is going to make it so your Rorq will have to be on grid in order to receive the boost from it.... There may have been a news letter which I had missed....

However requiring your rorq to be on grid is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. If this is in fact true it is probably the dumbest thing CCP has ever done... Regardless of the ability to tether your fleet. No one will want to fly the rorq after that, if this is the case... if this is in fact true... For the love of god CCP don't kill the rorq. a lot of mines will be totally and fully screwed because of that. I for one will be very unhappy at the amount of time wasted training a ship that alliances will no longer allow us to use because of that. You will not be able to cancel the bastion required for it... even with a 5 min invulnerability you will lose your rorq

So if that is in fact true I would like every one to voice their opinion on that. Please don't do that, allow us to keep our rorqs as an off grid booster

Again requiring the rorq to be an on grid booster is just out right stupid... Please don't do that CCP, keep it an off grid booster AttentionAttention

Why should miners be special snowflakes when it comes to link boosts?

Change tactics and fits. Battle-RR fit your Rorqual and fly PvP fitted Skiffs. You will be able to take on random gangs that attack.

From what I gathered they are trying to move it into a less boosting oriented role. It will have mining fighters among other things. The orca is a solely boosting ship and the Rorq is solely a boosting ship. We don't need the only two mining ships above cruiser size to do the same thing. So silly and redundant.

Why do people continue to post their ship whinge-of-the-day threads in GD?

It's not like there isn't an appropriate forum...

"So some one told me..."
-do your own research-

" I for one will be very unhappy..."
-bleating won't help make your point-

" I would like every one to voice their opinion..."
-because I am unwilling to actually do any research and just want to bleat-

"just out right stupid..."
-couldn't have said it better myself-

"your comments just confirms this whole idea is totally pathetic" -Lan Wang-

Risk / Reward.

/thread

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

I loled at that, it means you are really new to this game if you think that is stupidest thing, but maybe you dont hear about others things since people dont cry and they adapt, here is example ccp killed whole wh ecosystem of krabers and people hunting krabers in wh loosing a lot subs and even more people leaving whs. :D just one small example

Also they took **** on their foundation that says "Risk vs reward, more risk more reward" and a lot other things on which this game was founded on

In the list of dumb things CCP has done, this doesn't even break the top ten.

I remember watching a fleet of Mackinaws unload on a gang of interceptors that thought they could get an easy kill. 75 T2 light drones is a lot of DPS.

Know of any other boosting ships that cost 3 billion ISK and require being completely immobile to do their jobs?

I expect that making them immobile will be going away (at least as part of the boosting - it may stay as part of their defensive capabilities). But unless you have access to information none of the rest of us have seen, why don't we wait until the changes are actually posted before we Chicken Little all over ourselves.

First of all.... Godwin's Law, mate.
Second of all.... I wasn't grammar Nazi'ing... sometimes I just forget that there's anyone playing this game who doesn't PvP.

Ah well there's a reason for that.

It's like this, players who are interested in the game, and keep up with the game, including dev blogs etc, knew about this months ago!

Now we have someone whining about it, who reckons they'll be affected by it, but has no interest in keeping up with developments.

All the replies reflect the fact that the op doesn't give a **** about keeping up.

Solecist Project...." They refuse to play by the rules and laws of the game and use it as excuse ..." " They don't care about how you play as long as they get to play how they want."
