IGB Browser and Future

With the IGB being depreciated and removed, I was wondering if there was any plans to enable way to handle what would of been IGB links.

While I think the ability for CREST applications to be able to send custom notifications would be amazing. (Seriously, think of the fleet tools we could build). As a replacement for the IGB it would be nice to have a browser protocol.

Example:
eve://showinfo/627

Edit: I know openwindow endpoints, and I do think that does replace a lot(hopefully soon) if not all the need. But it also breaks the expected user flow in many cases.

They have already begun to replace some of the IGB methods with CREST endpoints.

Such as one to open market details or a specific contract. Or one that will be released on the August 9th release that will open a show info window a corp/alliance/character.

As time goes on am sure other endpoints will be added to replace the IGB when it is removed next month.
