If you are lazy, here is a nice AFK missioning fit for you P

This seems like bad advice . . .

-Kirst

Clearly you haven't met enough high-sec missioners to know what they are looking for in ship fitting advice...

Really, c'mon baby, it's not good advice to have some one start a L4 AFK, and then go take a nap.

So, is that the buzz in high-sec? I think not. Come up with some other assumption. Must have been a lot of chatter in the last 3 months.Blink

-Kirst

Why does everyone have so much trouble re-quoting? lol

Anyway - this ^ coming from the guy who told him to just train for a carrier to run his *high-sec missions*...Because marauders aren't worth it...

And then you support the ridiculously over-blinged golem...

Do you see what mine uses for tank? That is overkill...even for AFK missioning. If you aren't AFK...you need *even less*...

I fit my ship the way I want, you can fit yours the way you want. I've made a lot of isk over the years and have a lot of mods in the inventory. If I got the bling I'm going to use it.

So you have a Golem, with only 3 month old character? I really doubt you could be in a Golem so quickly, and be able to actually fly it well. The numbers don't add up to me. Or, you're another one that's afraid to post with their main

Let's just move along, and get back to the OP.

Not a very quick one are you....

My name is a hint....

I also never claimed to own a golem, because it would be irrelevant. I answered the OP's question and provided a fit that may fulfill his needs...

The thread isn't all about *you* you know...Why don't you self destruct your golem and bling up your carrier instead - per *your own* advice?

The dead swans lay in the stagnant pool. They lay. They rotted. They turned Around occasionally. Bits of flesh dropped off them from Time to time. And sank into the pool's mire. They also smelt a great deal.

Please be nice to players who are not afraid of publicly admitting that they are blinging their ships.
We should do everything we can to encourage more of them to openly admit it.
Hell, the best thing ever would be a whole thread all about their precious!
Don't you agree that those who can should show off?
They should make everyone jealous!
The admirations would be huge!
Please think about it.
Encouragement!

What's in a name? There's all kinds of names here. Who knows why your a dirty little alt, so don't even try that.

Never said any of this was about me. This was about you and your bad advice. I never said anything about a carrier. I don't have one, you are confused on who has said what. Go back and try to read correctly. You should stop before you get in any deeper.

Here's a quote from you;

"Do you see what mine uses for a fit".

Oh, now you say you don't even own a Golem. Then why the heck are you giving any advice at all! And you want us to go AFK and then take a nap! Really? I've never heard anyone say, "Gee wish I had a AFK fit for my Golem so I can go take nap". Give me a break!

You might wake up and see your toon back at your station.

Pleeeaaase, that was just really bad advice.

I was referring to my fit...the one I posted...

and the nap was not literal...

And I didn't say I don't own a golem either - I said I *didn't say* because it *isn't relevant* PPP

I see the problem here - you are an idiot P

Also yes the carrier guy was someone else, I just got you confused because you were both spouting nonsense...

PS: By all means, please link your golem fit - and all of your other bling fits. We want to worship you.

Also you fly them on that character right? You wouldn't be a hypocrite hiding behind an alt would you? >,>

edit: Also - you *mis-quoted me*....right after you complained about my not reading closely enough? Wow man...wow... Is it that hard to copy/paste?

It always comes down to this.

When a person puts their foot in their mouth, when they get embarrassed about something they had said, or in order to try to save face, they have to revert to personal attacks and name calling, just as you are doing.

The more you try and put something on me, the more silly you look.

So please keep it up. I'm enjoying this. Doesn't phase me one bit.Big smile

Trust me, there is no hiding here.

Can we now get back to the OP?

...Repeated calls to "get back to the OP" when you are the only one going off topic...

Arguing with your own alts purely to spam the thread more with off-topic material...

Troll confirmed.

I've given the OP my advice for a fit I think he might like on his golem - going to stop following it now and let you troll yourself in peace.

But you keep answering me, you did the name calling.

I thought with arguing between my characters, we all might get a little comic relief from all your BS, and show I'm not hiding behind any alt. I guess you were afraid to show yours because it might prove contradictory. You got called out and didn't show.

But no . . .

You gave the OP your advice, for a ship you don't even fly, and then say you only meant part of it literally? When were you going to tell him that?

Hey baby, or dude, whomever you are, if I'm a troll, then your a troll, it works both ways.

Yes, please go, and don't let the door hit you in your ass.

adios,

Cruise missiles will almost always outperform torpedoes, with the exception of a handful of missions.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

As someone who has often used Golems for level 4s in the past a bastion, XL shield booster and two T2 invulns will tank even the highest dps missions against Sansha with ease. Don't use any bling on your tank for this (faction damage mods and TPs), it's excessive and makes you a gank target. Use a crystal set if you must.

Level 5s are also quite doable by swapping out active hardners for faction/deadspace passive resist amps and well setting your mids like this: MJD, 2X rat specific resist amps (good shield compensation skills strongly recommended), 2x XL ASB, Sensor booster (range scripted), Cap booster (yes, you need this, if you get neuted you may need to cap inject in order to MJD and MJD is life). You also need to have two ASBs in case you need to reload, using cap will never be an option.

The strategy for level 5s is as follows:
- Blitz the mission and get out, use cruise missiles.
- MJD away from the rats when you land, go into bastion and cycle the bastion off. If you are surrounded MJD above or below the horizon. In general you will start taking considerable but tankable damage as your bastion cycle ends and so you will want to MJD again to slow the incoming damage, trying to stretch a full reload on one ASB can get sketchy and the Golem is not a cheap hull plus you are at your most vulnerable while the MJD spools up, don't let the rats get on top of you before you jump again.
- When you come out of bastion decide if you need to MJD again or not. If not re-enter bastion and cycle it off again or better yet, turn off the auto-repeat. The range will mean most stuff can't reach and you can safely snipe from there, fast rats that close in will point but not scram so you'll be fine to MJD again. When the mission is done exit bastion mode, align out, MJD away from the rats pointing you and go straight into warp.
- Kill what you must and leave.
- If rats can possibly drop valuable swag: bookmark the wreck turn in the mission and warp back to the wreck in whatever you like.

This is low sec so standard caution around gates is recommended. As for people coming into your mission, it is often less of a problem than you might think. Often by the time anyone finds you and probes you down you will be 200km or more off the warp-in point and there are likely to be a good group of neuting/webbing towers and sentry guns/rats looking for something to do... and... well... Let's just say your invaders are likely to be less prepared for the task at hand than you are. Unlike using a carrier however gated missions are your friend as they prevent people warping on top of you it also causes them to land in the rat "kill zone" when they take the gate.

Reality has an almost infinite capacity to resist oversimplification.
