How do I fix launcher certificate error?

I'm getting certificate errors when I try and run the launcher on both my mac and pc. Says 'Server's certificate is not trusted.' Does anybody know how do resolve this? I've seen references to this issue in past forums posts, but nothing on how to fix.

I have no idea who Doc is. Anybody have ideas how to fix this?

Same thing here. Certificate error pops up, after clicking 'ignore' the launcher silently closes. Ubuntu 14.04, wine 1.9.10-staging, and while I understand this is not a supported configuration, everything was working flawlessly before the update.

UPD: using evelauncher -d, I was able to get into game. WIthout -d, launcher window with gui shows up but vanishes in less than a second.
