NPC null, time to give it some love?

So as those of us that live out in NPC null cause we are not big enough to hold sov null. i have noticed that the transition to sov null is super hard for a couple of reasons.

1. Supercaps. impossible to build unless you hold sov space, i find this kind of stupid as you need super caps to take and hold sov space.

2. NPC null ore is often worse or equal to low sec ores, i think this is possibly the dumbest thing to have when your out in null especially as there is no logical reason for it.


let me know what you think would be the best way to change these 2 things, for me supercaps should be able to be built in a Keepstar with a special rig to allow it at the cost of not being able to build any other types of ships and simply should add smaller amounts of null sec sov ore to NPC null.

everything is fine as is, take sov or join an alliance that holds sov /o thread

Um... If you can't claim sov.... How could you anchor and defend a keepstar for the 3 months or more it takes to build a super?

You don't need supers to take and hold sov. An interceptor with an entosis link is sufficient.

OP has a very good point regarding NPC Null Ore. This is particularly obvious in Outer Ring, which is supposed to be industrial mining heaven, but really isn't.

Can't activate Entosis links on Interceptors...
