Interface changes v1011

In an effort to improve the experience of using the launcher, we've deployed some changes.

- Added Auto-Login switch in favor of automatically determined auto-login process
- Added icon to each account in the account list so users can pin/unpin (remember/forget) their accounts more visually
- Added missing localizations
- Some initial optimizations to improve login process for players with many accounts.
- Added dropdown list next to logout button for common operations. More to be added later.
- Changed icon for profiles selection to communicate multiple choice
- Updated/added/fixed tooltips for account list items and buttons.
- Removed "Remember this account" box from login screen in favor of account pin/remember switches in the account list


EDIT:
v1014: A fix for missing scrollbar was deployed. Please restart launcher or refresh interface to receive latest update.
v1015: Function list next to logout button now appears above rather than below. This is to prevent people from accidentally forgetting all accounts when they want to toggle auto-login.

the scrollbar disappeared from launcher. I can't get to some of my accounts now. Fix please.

So it had. Fix deployed in v1014

For gods sake, wehre is the scrollbar?

Are you guys, even testing what you are deploying?

Currently, i need a 250" monitor to use my launcher

This has already been addressed and a fix was deployed in v1014

Within the next few minutes.

Actual version number 1014 to bypass caching for quicker update.

1014 active and I very much like the pin functionality. Now the behavior is back to the old "log one account in, have all (pinned) accounts logged in". Great work. Lol

Just a little UI polish is necessary with the auto-login box that hangs under the accounts list box: the dark gray background should stretch over the entire length of the accounts list box and not just as far as the text+button go for this option. Furthermore, I would put it on top of the list and not at the bottom. That makes it easier to access if you have many accounts and it got scrolled out of view right when you start up the launcher.

I'm not sure about the icon choice for the profiles. I sit about a meter away from my monitor and could not discern what the icon was and that it's 2 gear wheels. It's rather blurry and I am not sure if it's at all necessary to convey multiple choices because you can have only one profile selected and used ingame after all. I think the previous 1 gear wheel was better.

Can you still open https://login.eveonline.com in your browser, while the launcher doesn't load the login screen?

so, if i switch to Singularity, the user name/password comes up.

but i is switch back to Tranquility it goes away

If you restart your launcher or press the update icon to load v.1018 there should be a fix for the disappearing login problem there.

Alternatively, if you don't mind entering your information and choosing profile again, you can try navigating to the folder at %localappdata%/CCP/EVE/QtWebEngine/Default and deleting the IndexedDB folder. This will clear all your local settings and accounts from the launcher.

I had the same problem as above, but deleting the folder solved it.

Unfortunately though now my client won't actually launch at all. I can screenshot the LogLite if that would help at all???

EDIT: I'm no computer expert but I think, according to this, there was a problem when I was trying to share the cache's between the old client and new one - I'm only reactivating today after a few months off. Any idea how I can reset it completely, if that is the cause?

Further edit: Just reset everything, redownloaded and set a new shared cache location. Still doesn't work.

Tranquility Online status indicator box covers my topmost account. It seems the pin/unpin graphic has stretched the the vertical dimensions of each account box ever so slightly, and with several accounts it pushes the accounts under the TQ status box.

Is there a chance you can move the TQ online status window? I have a preference for keeping the launcher in its smallest dimension while also displaying 10 accounts. It worked great until now.

oh. okay I guess if you disallow the overlap that fixes the overlap problem.

Now the auto-login slider is hidden under the layout button and "Ready" along the bottom. The only way to fix this is extend the launcher vertically.

I feel like we're moving away from the goal of a compact layout here.

UX is under constant revision and your feedback is very much appreciated as our current efforts to improve UX is to increase quality of life for players, not impede it. Moving the layout button and readjusting the auto-login switch is already on the todo list and will hopefully be implemented sooner rather than later.
