I'm attempting to start a new venture, hosting Team Fortress 2 matches for isk where the winning team gets the spoils (minus a small 'rake'). The idea is to have up to 24 players on a dedicated server compete on the capture the flag 2Fort map for 15 minutes or first to 3 captures, although any map or mod could be arranged, and pay an entrance fee up front. Then the winning team would each receive twice the buy-in minus the 5% rake (so a 200m buy-in would receive 380m for a win).

So far I've got a private 25 slot - 24 + 1 for a spectator admin - dedicated server located on the West Coast, USA from gameservers.com and the stability seems pretty good so far. What I'm looking for now is some people to help out with administration of the games, advertising, and dealing with isk transactions while running games. In exchange for your efforts you'd get half of the rake of any games you administrate. If this sounds like something that interests you send me a mail and feel free to check out the login details for the server at the 'Eve TF2' channel.

I'm not entirely sure, but my gut tells me that using ISK for non-EVE services is probably against the ToS/EULA. Check it out.

We have EVE-Bet and this is a similar idea, betting on a third party event, though the bettors and competitors are the same people. It might get a little murky when taking a cut because you pay for the server. It'd be best to ask CCP whether this is okay.

I had assumed this was ok due to the precedent of things like EOH and their use of the Poker Mavens software but it certainly is a good idea to be sure so I've sent in a ticket to ask whether it is or not.
