Very Nice, after taking a 2 year Break i decided to go back to play Eve, after hours of figuring out the interface again i decides to go out and try some pvp in my favourite ship, the Blood Raider prophecy, but what did i see when i opened up the ship hangar, a regular prophecy, with an open skinslot, and the Skin in my inventory, so far so good i though, but then i Read the title of the Skin. It said duratiion 30 days. Seriously ? I bought this ship 2 years ago thinking it was a ship with a permanent Skin and a Different name, but apparently CCP Have changed that to a normal ship with a Skin with time Limit. nice going, now i have to buy the Skin every month again..... Might be just a version glitch. I'd submit a support ticket, and I'm sure you'll get that cleared up.

That's CCP fail. A permanent version of that skin just doesn't exist.

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

AFAIK the blood raider skins are rare drops. In order to have a constant demand for them they are time limited.
Under the old system they were limited as well - if your ship blew up the skin was gone. Now you are guaranteed to have the skin for 30 days no matter how many Prophecies you take to Valhalla.

I didn't. I was actively playing at the time the conversion happened, and all of my pirate faction ships were converted to 30 day skins. I know this, because I never reapplied them, and they're still in my hangar.

CCP's choice in this is understandable, ships blow up and replacing a special ship with a permanent skin is perhaps "not fair". At the same time it's "not fair" on people who never used, undocked or lost their special ship so for CCP it's a case of damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Still it's kind of a **** move as well.

No every pirate skins converted to 30d skins.
