Greetings,

Any of you fellows know of anything close to OnTopReplica[0] or EVE-O Preview[1] than runs natively on Linux? Maybe a feature of a windows/desktop management suite I may have overlooked?

Thanks

I was able to do something similar in Gnome desktop (Ubuntu Gnome) by just right clicking the window header and selecting "always on top" from the dropdown menu.

Here a topic where it is explained how to enable it in Cinnamon (Linux Mint) and Mate desktop environments. I haven't tested this, but according to comments I suppose it works. Big smile

Since you did not specify what Linux distro you're using, it's quite hard to give more detailed help. P
But hope this helps!

XFCE has that option, most windows/desktop management should have it as well, thanks.

Still not quite there though if you compare the 'always on top' feature to the two examples I linked. Nonetheless, I have something new to try and the search continues.

On LXQt you have it too:

right click on the task -> layer -> always on top.
