Citadels - access to POCOs in the same system while docked

When doing PI while docked in a Citadel, I find it strange you cannot access the POCOs that are in the same system as the Citadel while docked, it forces you to undock to move resources around. Ok you still have to undock to retrieve the resources, no issue with that, but if all you want to do is quickly restart and move materials to the POCO, seems strange to have to undock to do it when you can do this from an NPC Station (at least i remember you could). I don't see a reason for this.

Yep, confirmed and very cool.

Not really a big deal as you said you have to undock to pick stuff up.

Means if you don't have time to pick up PI one evening you could just move your output to orbit and worry about picking up later on.

Unexpected feature is good feature.

He's saying you can't utilize launchpads while docked in a citadel. I'm not sure if you're trolling or actually see this as a 'feature'.

Note to OP, if you select "view outside" it will let you move stuff around. Or just undock of course.

In my case (I've never do PI in NPC area) but for my PI job i can relaunch cycles, add/move/delete infrastructure from everywhere in New Eden, docked or not.
But for interfacing my ressource with POCOs and Planet's launchpads (transfer, in the 2 ways), i have to be in the system and in space.

Techically (in a programmed thinking), Citadels don't works exactly like a normal station. Something between a ship and a station i guess Cool

I only do PI in Sov space and WH, but i don't think it works different in NPC systems. Correct me if i'm wrong Lol
