Citadel Baseliner Populations

What is the range from minimum to maximum of supportable human populations per citadel type?

From the population existing when a citadel is freshly built & anchored ... to the point where it's fully fit, staffed and nearly bursting with activity, docked ships and a human population.

How do these numbers compare with traditional NPC stations?

Actually quite interested in this. From the amount of small space craft moving around a citadel and the citadels size you could hypothesize that there are several thousands living in each citadel.

Each citadel function would require its own department and personnel.

- Hanger and ship maintenance

- Food and Recreation for the ship crews stationed as well as citadel personnel and their families.

- Accommodation

- Defense systems including the fighter bay.

- A citadel command element including traffic control and communication.

- Citadel maintenance for its hull and multitude of internal and external systems.

- Planetary interaction liaison and customs clearance.

Additionally each citadel service module would require staff.

- Clone center - Scientists and communication experts to ensure clones were updated as each capsuleer increased his/her SP and to provide trouble free transfer to a new clone as required.

- Market (likely including clerks, IT systems and personnel as well logistic specialists to ensure the smooth delivery of purchased items to correct ship hanger bays or storage facilities.

- Refining. Refining machinery operators, logistic and ore specialists.

All very valid points you raise.

Difficult to measure what we can not interact with.

So would you say tree fiddy?

Making up any random number is as valid as any when unknown.

Livestock is not close to representing what would be moor likely plausible.

Furthermore may not represent a balance over time of usefulness for the live stock that were included.

There may be a toxic waste tycoon you could ask to count his zombies.

I remember this Scope video mentioning "tremendous loss of life" and "thousands of lifes lost"

But that doesnt really say much.
