Ever since i installed eve on this new pc, I have had this issue, Eve would cause my Drivers to stop working, Crashing eve or taking 30secs to restore the screen, I have rolled back the drivers, Reinstalled Windows and all drivers, as well as the game its self. Keeps happening, Only game to cause this is EVE ONLINE,

I have run the bug reports nothing comes up, The crashing seems to be random also, I could be undocked nothing happening and crash, Or i could be docked same thing, Ether Single client or multi doesn't mater,

Is anyone else having this issue and know how to resolve?

If the problem is underlying at OS level as it is win 10 it is applicable to Win 7 & as well and u never know the last update u had could have been the cause

I'm having a similar issue. EVE randomly started crashing into a blue screen on the 16th of this month and continues to do so just about every time I play longer than an hour or two.

Running a scan in Powershell showed that there were corrupted system files. Some were fixed while others were not. The log is just too long and confusing for me to make any sense of.

DISM.exe was unable to do anything due to not being able to find the "source" whatever that means.

Any chance this will go away on its own with future updates or are my days in EVE Online over?

EVE doesnt touch system files (lolanymore).. if your system files are corrupt, you need to either reinstall windows to fix it, or repair the corrupted files.
run sfc to try to fix them: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929833 (works in every version from XP to 10)

Simpler option, though, would be just pop the windows disk in and reinstall. we try to refresh the OS every 6 months or so just to keep things running smooth.

I have a similar issue for a while now with my Alienware 17 and GTX 880M. When I run more than two accounts (three finally) I experience random freezes and within 10 seconds the system is back. In my error logs is a message that the driver "nvlddmkm" is not reacting and has been reset (German message).

I thought it might be one of the actual drivers but it seems not. Then I expected a problem caused by EVE.

I will now check the link above to investigate the issue on Win 10 level.

I made some intense tests with several games and graphic applications (3d and compositing). The freeze issue just happens when I start a third EVE client. I used FurMark for a stress test. It's definitely not a heat issue. I also tested the VRAM. Nothing.

I have the suspicion it might be an issue between EVE, driver and Win 10?

Try to start EVE with DX9 option in your launcher settings. This will fix my freezes here. It looks like it's an DirectX issue with DX12 actually.

Thanks for the reply. Wish I didn't find myself agreeing with you as I don't have a hard copy of Windows (installed from a flash drive) and am also using an SSD as a main drive (making repeated read/writes an unappealing option). The crashes are a lot fewer and farther between these days and with a different error message every time. Maybe some day they'll go away? Seems unlikely...
