Has there been any changes recently to modules upping the power grid requirements?

I un-docked 2 different ships today only to notice one of the guns were turned off. Both fits had previously been riding the line for powergrid but worked fine.

When I noticed this, I docked back up and tried to bring the offline weapon back online only to receive a notification that I did not have enough power grid.

One of these fits was used as recently as 2 days ago. I don't remember seeing any notifications about changes made to hulls or modules that could account for this.

I did also notice that all of my evemail was showing up again as unread so I figured something had to change with the client or there was some sort of bug in the works.

The only thing I can think of with the power grid issue is that the requirements of one of the modules on the ship has changed recently without my being aware of it, OR that there is a bug which is not correctly applying the effects of my skills or the rigs on the ship. (Both fits use ACR's)

Any ideas?

There have been numerous changes to the fitting requirements of modules over the last few months as part of the module tieracide. In my experience these changes have mostly effected cpu requirements however some modules like prop mods, armor plates and shield extenders may have had significant changes to pg as well. In most cases modules with the same fitting requirements as before still exist but their performance may now be more in line with their fitting demands. I'd take a look at what you have fitted before considering the possibility of a bug.
