Hey everyone,

So I've been looking at Tengu fits solely for running WH's and came up with this kind of fit:

I need the CPU implant for now but will change very quickly. Does this look like a good enough fit for WH's preferably running C4's solo? Or what would you change about this fit to make it more 'improved'?

Solo C4's are a bad idea, the isk per baddy you kill is the same but there's a lot more RR and spawns are a lot more spread out. Just do C3's, you'll end up with more isk/hr for solo.

https://o.smium.org/loadout/87511 is a good tengu fit for C3's, you can change out some application mods for tank until you get comfortable, and there's a higher cap gen version linked in the description of that for even more tank.

don't plug in the Crystals until you can use the full set, including the slot 6 Omega. That particular pod setup will cause much hilarity and mirth when it turns up as a killmail. Partial Pirate Sets are always cause for a giggle.

In fact, unless you're insanely wealthy, don't 'budget' on using implants at all in a WH outside a set of +3 or +4 attribute plugs. You WILL get jumped sooner or later while running a site.

Personally, I run C4 sites in a pair of remote cap-boosting Rattlesnakes.

What would you suggest for doing C4's? Having 2 accounts be able to run both Tengu's or would you suggest a different setup for running C4's while you run sites and have one account go back and salvage the sites? Just getting into WH combat sites, used to live in a WH but mainly for PI and scouting for the corp I was apart of for deployments.

I'm assuming you run dual active rattles? Do you scan with one of them or do you have another alt that does the scanning down of WH's? Also do you have a Rattlesnake fit? I have 2 characters and both can run Rattlesnakes easily.

That is pretty well tanked... So how do you keep the drones a live since the sleepers tend to change targets? Do you recall them every time they start shooting your drones since your drones are your primary dps or do you do something else?

And that fit is fairly cheap too... I could buy 2 rattlesnakes for the price of 1 Tengu I'm looking at.

the sleepers actually very rarely shoot my drones. I think the remote cap transfers and target painters set off the 'shoot the EWAR/Logi users first' subroutines of their AI.

On the very rare occasions they are shooting my drones, yes, pull them, relaunch, re-assist (if applicable).

For the Tengu.
I use a Tengu a lot for null sec sites. not so much WH though.
For my taste, I like Caldari Power Diagnostics a lot better than flux coils.
If you're not familiar with them, read the stats on all the improvements they make.

I also like more CCC rigs, and at the least, I'd use a T2 CCC and down grade the bay thruster rig.

I def like the large booster, and I wouldn't use anything else.

Recommend about 25% of your ammo should be Precision missiles.

1x Tengu in a class 4 wormhole is a no no. The sleepers there will violate your tengu so fast that you will get dizzy. A golem can do it but I don't recommend soloing the sites.

A class 3 is a different story and your tengu will be fine.

The only reason for the CPU implant is due to not having sub systems to V yet and working on afterburner and shield skills, should be done within a week or two. Really good call about the Caldari Navy Power Diagnostic System, seems better than the flux coil.

If I had 2 Tengu's with the same setup would that be good enough to run C4's? Or should I stick to solo C3's and lower and maybe try Dual Rattlesnakes for C4's?

Their is just something about doing C4's that make me want to go for it really big!

Even 2x tengu won't be able to. 2x Rattlesnakes can do it, even better in a class 4 pulsar. The 2x tengus would need at least 2x basilisk reps.

Since CCP "fixed" the heavy nos in c4 sites you can no longer solo them in a tengu. I used to solo them in a Tengu with pithum a large shield booster, 2 x faction invuln's, faction em, LSE, 5 x HML's, 2 x T2 medium cap rigs, a medium CDOS, navy bcu's. Cant't remember exactly.
But as said, since the changes a few years back, you can no longer do it solo in a tengu. You looking at 3 rr tengu's at a minimum. Snakes and marauders are the way to go.
The sleepers in a C4 will shoot one ship and heavy nos the other, and the heavy nos may as well be a neut, from 65km.

And that's a plus too I guess as well since both can be bought for the price of 1 Tengu!

Not that I'm aware of. I didn't have any kind of trouble with my tengu in a class 3 wormhole. Just be a little more cautious in the sleeper data and relic sites.
Oh and be vary of the people whom aren't there.

tengu can easily solo a c3, as can a drake :)

I'll stick to C3's with my Tengu then and run dual rattles for C4!

Do you by chance have a fit that can run that? I would definitely love to test that on SiSi for sure especially if it works that would be nuts and would seem very thrilling to do.

I also saw another post of Marauders being able to do C4's and possibly C5's, which Marauder would be good to run C4's and maybe if I'm even remotely lucky to run C5's? I was thinking the Vargur due to guns needing no cap but not sure if that would work out well.
Would prefer to stick with the Tengu but I'm up for anything that can take a punch and deliver a dynamite back :)

Really? A drake can tank a C3? O_o Do you have a fit by chance that can do C3's? Because the cost of a Drake compared to a Tengu is a big difference and might be a good learning ship to get into for WH combat sites.
