How random are missions offered?

Has anyone noticed how random the missions you're offered are? If you're doing missions for Amarr Navy and are in Sansha space, will you get mainly Sansha missions?

Is it worth moving your missioning to an area whose rats suit the resists of your ships?

1. yes, this is intended.

2. The tank of your ship can be altered to suit. The damage that your able to put out doesn't always match the rat. Some move to accomodate this fact. ( ie. Amarr to crap damage to Angel and to some extent Guristas).

Your raven will be able to change it's damage output via missles and drones allowing you to run pretty much everywhere, however your shield tank will be weak to EM damage so it is advisable to shy away from Amarr space until your compensation skills are adequate.

This said, a close eye kept on triggers and a read up on the survival guides should ensure that your hi sec mission running is pretty risk free.

I've done a ton of level 4s on this character with my domi and Ishtar in Amarr space, and I'm attempting to now on an alt who is using caldari missile boats. I'm finding it's a lot harder on the tank.

Considering a move to Minmatar space for Angels, they suit the tank and from memory their loot/salvage is rather nice too.

i regularly find meta4 target painters which go for 4mil a piece, so yea the loot is kind of nice.

I should buy an Ishtar.
