I noticed that too... but then I've been looking at the Lachesis pretty hard myself lately. We've got a new fleet doctrine I've been cooking up for late night Amamaketown and a Lach would just make it dandy.

When you put a long point on every ship going through a gatecamp, you get on a lot of kms.


You don't really need a super long point for that. Also, that would imply that there are lots of Lachs and lots of people dying in onesies and twosies to gatecamps... just doesn't add up tbh.

Only got to this point before I decided OP is brain dead, nobody flies a Drake because of its tank which is renowned for its excellence, and those Tengu gangs that are ripping **** to shreds right now, they must be using the hybrids sub, right??? Oh wait.

Oh and somebody said something about neuts being better than missiles, you dont fit missiles on a cane because mixed weapons systems mean less damage mods, that and neuts are great for welping Caps.

this thread makes me want to pick up and move to amamake by myself, just to casually pvp once in awhile against people who actually know what they are talking about. Would be a great experience I would think. Out of the many years of threads I've read, Liang has made some of the best and most accurate. I support the eft warriors way as a beginners way, but common sense and practicality play an advanced role and level that some beginners never seems to make it to, or are incapable of learning.

Anyway, I read pages 1-3 and lolled, then I couldn't be bothered to go any further so I read the CSM meeting notes and thought I'd quote this part of it just for the reactions:

Ed: I recommend that they make it more agile and faster. It really needs that because its too hard for the Talos to get into range of its enemies. :)
