Blasters, superheated plasma, shields, and speed. Fast, reliable, deadly. I've always preferred shield fit, speedy blaster boats for dealing with criminals. There is something quite beautiful in the art of getting up close and personal with those who prove themselves to be a bane to New Eden. I relish in their swift and personalized destruction.

However, the release of Legion vessels has given me an interest in the missile ships of my home nation. More specifically, nimble and long-ranged ones.

Of course, at the end of the day, different situations call for an adaptive strategy.

If I must do something, I prefer to do it correctly, efficiently, and well.

So whatever is at least close to optimal or ideal for the situation at hand.

I prefer to stay within scram range for most parts. I also dislike taking damage. You can guess exactly how I fly.

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

I haven't heard of EWAR at scram range.

I was going more with the "I dislike taking damage" part. And also Kim's claim from a while back (when she couldn't deal with you in a probe with, what? A caracal was it? I forget because... really who cares what she said. Your usual ships a nice choice though I rarely fly it. I should change that but still rather play with autocannon.

I still have 30 Breachers in Hangar. I need to branch out. Probably eventually move on to destroyer-size and cruiser-size after I sort out a few matters pertaining to their architecture retrofits.

Well, the talwar, corax and the cyclone are nice, personally I've only used a caraval once and did horribly, though it was destined to fai due to what i was fighting.... Also the kestrel might be a change of pace for ya. Think I got an OK fit for one, if I find it I'll toss ya it.

I'm not particularly impressed with the Kestrel and the Talwar...well...it's a little lacking for solo work, I found. Cyclones, I tried that out and honestly? Cyclones are pretty damned good.

I have some Worms and something else in my hangar as well. Working on amassing 4 billion before I put together something that can kill a Link Loki that's sitting under the protection of gate guns.

Marauders...preferably Kronos or Golem. Aside from that, I'll settle with what works best given the situation.

I have come to regard myself as a logistician. Industrial contributions to ship and module supply, and on field, logistics doctrines to keep those creations in one piece as long as possible in the face of the enemy.

The Osprey has become a fine and valued rebuttal of my early prejudice on aesthetics and Caldari engineering. Beauty is to be found in its efficiency relative to cost, and suddenly the weird spiky outgrowths become elegant. Of course, one develops a very close relationship with a clone bay.

Avoidance. It's a doctrine that's close to my heart :)

Incoming unpopular opinion Combat usually gets in the way of other things that I'd rather be doing, so my main doctrine is to end or get out of battles as quickly and neatly as possible. So cloaks, ECM, web stabs, missiles, drones, and speed are my some of my best friends. They understand my need maximize my lounging and drinking time while minimizing the needless expense of weaponry and ammo.
Pretty much this.

  1. Avoid fights
  2. Always use cloaking devices
  3. Be as fast as possible
  4. Be as tanky as possible
  5. Drones if there is some space left
