Is CCP aware of the massive desync problem happening randomly in larger PVP fights?

A simple yes or no answer would suffice here from CCP thank you.

I was a player flying in a publicly advertised multiple party wormhole fight and the fight was so plagued by desynced ships on all sides that the whole event was basically cancelled due to CCP's faulty hardware/software unable to support even this moderate sized brawl.

I'm a bit salty about this (even though I survived the fight) as its one thing to die to your own mistakes in a fight but when you can no longer trust the server to even keep track of where your ship is the game stops being fun and everyone logs off in disgust.

This problem was fixed for a long time and now with citadels it is back with a vengeance.

fix it.

/end rant.

Its not just in large fights. I've had as much as 30 seconds between clients just circling an fw beacon w my 2 little frigates. And I know its a full 30 because the plex timers on each client were actually 30 seconds apart. In most cases warping away and back resyncs things. I've also noticed aberations in the timers as they tick down. The seconds will sometimes slow down or speed up. Server is drunk. (Has been for a month or two)

Did you also happen to notify CCP of this engagement through the fleet fight notification system? To reinforce the node given it was a publicly advertised fight. (And what you call 'moderate' can be totally different to what the particular node your WH was on happens to consider moderate, especially if other WH's also on the node happened to have fights in at the same time).

And have you bug reported this? If you bug reported it CCP will be aware of your particular issues.

Speaking generally of course CCP is aware desyncs happen though, welcome to the internet.

^^ this. Though for me its not lag its the game and server not agreeing on the placement of objects. Like the game telling me to come closer to a WH to jump but I am so close that I am bumping it. I had it happen when I am the only one on grid.

They are aware. At the moment, there are so many little 'Annoying" bugs, that they are overwhelmed by the paper cuts. Staff on vacation, daydreaming, etc. The backlog of bug reports alone must be a nightmare. At least we have Project Discovery to fall back onRoll

Civil discourse is uniquely human. After all, when is the last time a pride of lions and a herd of water buffalo negotiated SOV over a watering hole? Never. Someone either gets their ass kicked or eaten. At the end of the day someone holds SOV.

When was the last time anyone saw CCP comment on a player complaint in this forum?

(Rhetorical question. Please continue as you were.)

I don't think its an internet speed thing. My connection rocks and I have major issues. It isn't 'lag' in the traditional sense either.

I am so not impressed with CCP's work ethic or customer service ethics. These bugs are beyond annoying. The Desync has been going on ever since they 'downgraded' tranquility. Its been months now. Trillions of isk has been lost to the Desync. Enough is enough.

This honestly made me laugh.

Ive noticed quite a bit of rubber banding and synch issues just flying alone recently. I've only really noticed it going into warp or moving fast. Coming out of warp on a gate or station is worse then normal. Not stupid bad but enough for me to notice and wonder wtf was causing it. I just fiqured it had something to do with the recent patch causing problems. So the server has had too much to drink, i just dont know who baught it the drinks or how drunk it really is.
