Thanks! I feel much better about this whole thing now.

I would give it a try if it was only about 10b. But there's just no way the OP can get 50 dudes aboard.

It is either 50 dudes or few dudes with total of 500+ billion. As of now we are going for small number of people with much bigger values. Which means that we wouldn't require 50 or even 30 partners. Initially they all pledge minimum, upon progression some are willing to infuse more. Just check header for updates.

Nah, it's ok - I think your scam is quite apparent. "Sarcasming" is much more fun, thanks

Surely, I can call you a scammer and that should be enough as well, because who needs evidence, right?
But hey thanks for pushing that abstract thinking forwards, we have little of that in here anyway.

Yes sure, that evidence... are undercover cops crooked when you catch them during undercover and say that they are criminals? They can be, but the fact they are undercover doesn't mean they are crooked nor does the opposite.

Also I don't particularly care because in your narrow understanding scamming is used only to scam, right? Because if it is so, than double spy agents are a myth. Or maybe you just want to defamate me because you both narrow thinker and interested in doing so, however considering that you are prone to sarcasm I must say that possibility of interest is higher than that of narrow view on things.

Thanks for bumping.

I think you're doing that quite successfully on your own, without any intervention on my part. Carry on defemating!

In fact they are, if they are doing crooked things while undercover. Of course I can't speak for every legislation in the world but I think most civilized countries are in agreement on this one. There were thoughts of granting them some leeway/leniency in allowing certain misdemeanors. But just imagine you are a mobster suspecting one of your underlings to be an undercover cop. Would you make him commit any misdemeanor included in a sanction free list or would you go for something just outside this field. I think the answer is clear and that's why undercover cops are subject to the same rules as mortal men.

Of course I also wonder what kind of police work you were doing by posing as a scammer. I'm sure the insights will help you in becoming a master trader.

Well, what here is called scam nothing but one of many ways to check the market. If, obviously, people fall for simple scams they will surely be just a sheeple following the market trend which is needed for successful completition of the operation. Considering that some traders do not consider a scam a probe into player's behaviour but rather a low level approach to making money in eve, they won't be a problem either. Those who wish to learn and teach - will come, those who think they know - will perish. Too much pathos, but you get the idea. Besides, the cop is an analogy and a story from people I know.

If you were simply trying to gather information, why didn't you just look at the contract history of the countless other scammers in Jita?

But what kind of information could you get that would benefit you in anything other than another scam? If someone sold a PLEX to you for 1m ISK that doesn't mean they're sheeple or following market trends, only that they're a bit simple and can't count zeroes, perhaps a little greedy too.

As for undercover police, I'm sure they're unofficially afforded some leniency in order to do their job and stay safe, but if they're stealing for their own benefit when a little detective work would provide similar results, then that's another matter entirely.

What do you think? Maybe people are so hungry for PLEX they do not see price tag, greed aside. Exactly the people that are so unattentive are the people who having the choice will not think twice or analyze it, thus falling into line. Consumers exactly do so, in other way nobody would buy iphones every year with no real increase in technology, because they would be rational consumers and think better instead of buying ipad2 even though they just ended up getting ipad a year prior, right? Wrong, they do and they will keep doing it, which I don't mind at all as long as I benefit from such people and their mindlessnes. Those who possess something they cannot withhold should give it to those who can hold and multiply it. You don't give a gun to a child to play with, don't you? I will repeat that if you see scams as only scams you saw nothing.
