I think you could benefit from some time in WH space. R3d Fire is a member of Mouth Trumpet Cavalry alliance, which we founded recently with a like-minded corp of small gang PvPers.

We live in a C5-C5 vanilla wormhole, so we roll into all the big names of W-space, but we're a much tighter knit group. We've previously always flown nano-gang since numerically we've been disadvantaged against 0.0 blobs and larger WH groups, but with our new alliance, we're rolling out the big guns. Apostle-supported HAC fleets(the HAM Legion's little brother doctrine) 100mn VNIs fleets for taking on carriers and the occasional Titans(https://zkillboard.com/related/30004589/201607120000/) in 0.0, etc etc.

We're active as hell, check out our KB activity in comparison to some 0.0 alliances. Even though our peak form-up, all hands on **** would be about 25 people.

Fun/hr is our goal, hence the non-elite 'ISK efficiency' or whatever. We fly things that make people say "WTF?" because it gets us more fights. I have to admit, and we have to be honest here, that I was going to write a cut and paste here. Truth in advertising and all that, often cut and pastes aren’t for the prospective recruit, but for the lurkers who hide away and read these posts to see if someone interesting has replied.

All my innate sensibility - particularly after reading the ‘I’ve got a Titan!’ bit - says that you’re out of my corp’s league. But I’m bored, and I’m feeling philosophical, so I’m going to write a proper response, even though we’ll most likely land in the same category of relationships - there’s nothing my corp can really offer that will top the ‘I’ve got a titan bit’. But anyway, here goes…

Fun times. My corporation, Filthy Peasants, mockingly models itself after the constitutional peasants in “The Holy Grail”, the Monty Python film. Our propaganda is filled with self-depracating stuff, where we put ourselves down. I think our most generous praise to ourselves is “we’re not terrible”. There’s a point to that.

Above all else, Eve is a time sink. It comes across in the way the game, shooting spaceships, morphs into something quite different if you let it. It stops being about shooting spaceships, in space, and becomes… a time management game. A people management game. An organisation building game.

The so called elites of this game don’t even log in anymore to fly around in spaceships. They engage in this ‘meta game’, which is everything except shooting space ships, in space. I’m not knocking that. You can launch a multidollar media empire on the back of time and people management. But that’s not the game we play. And that’s not the game we want to play, so we mock ourselves. We’re not terrible.

We’re some thirty-odd people in Peasants. From the new to the grizzled old vets. From the jaundiced hack who has seen it all, to the eager newbie who bumps up and down in excitement about loosing his first Corax. I myself is the loner who pierces the veil of Anoikis in my bomber. I’ve played since 2007, and like you I’ve done most. And I can honestly say… I’m having fun. Maybe that’s not your kind of fun. I don’t know what that is, but it’s there. In Peasants. So, yeah. Fun times.

And because it is like this, our leadership is very fluid. It’s very “flat”, if we accept for a moment that there’s any value in CEO-speak. We’re not trying to play the people game, or the time management game. So, it comes down to stepping up, getting people interested in an activity, and then doing it. It’s not about forming the perfect hierarchy, with a smooth execution of a long-running plan. That’s not us. We’re down here, on the ground, and we do stuff. For those of us who have tried to reach the stars of New Eden, the life down here in the dirt is… liberating. So yeah, it’s wrong to talk about leadership. The leadership there is, is the leadership we bring in cooperation with equals. Because, you know, we’re trying to have fun. Not check boxes and file reports. We’re shooting space ships, in space.

And that kind of brings it also to respect. Yes, you’re going to hear lewd jokes on TS. No, it’s not going to misogynist or racist or homophobic. If it was, I wouldn’t be a part of it. Because in the company of equals, people walk if you treat them bad. And the company of cowering fear, there’s a glass ceiling for what can be achieved. How does one inspire loyalty, friendship, and respect if the atmosphere is one of toxicity and harm?

So, that’s my long message. I bet we’re still going to end here, after you thinking “I’ve got a Titan, and they’re are too small.” If that’s the case, good luck to you. At least I’ve written nearly 700 words today. That’s something. Otherwise, you'd find your answers best in "Open Filth", our in-game channel. Join it. Otherwise...

I wont do a TLDR as i prefer to talk in game or on comms but any who, we are a group of pilots who have flown together for the last 5-6 years and are looking for more experienced pvp pilots to join us, I think the best way to accommodate all your concerns and issues is to bring your alt out to us and fly with us for a bit, if you would like i can even supply the ships and/or logistic assistance to move some stuff out here.... anyway best way for you too see if you want to fly with us is to fly with us !!, hit me up in game ! o7
