Couldn't you do more for the state by amassing a fleet of your own and teach those up and coming soldiers? Wouldn't that be an even greater service than simply showing up and fighting valiantly?

For purposes of Efficiency, it might.

Dedicating internal volume of a ship or station to facilities that would not be in use as often as possible, is somewhat inefficient.

E.g. say a Caldari Navy person takes 5 minutes to have a shower. Then the showers have a throughput of max 12 persons/hour/cubicle.

If you have a mixed crew, then with single-sex facilities, you'll need 2 shower cubicles, which drops the effective throughput to 6 persons/hour/cubicle. Because you still have the same number of crewpersons, but twice the facilities.


So, a ship or station might have unisex showers. And the Caldari personnel would go about their business in an efficient, businesslike fashion.

Not sure, but every Caldari facility that I've been assigned to has had unisex showers.

Not sure, but every Caldari facility that I've been assigned to has had unisex showers.


It can be a tremendous burden to bear at times. But we endure it for the greater good. It's a sacrifice, really, to see such things.

There is absolute no difference how females and males take showers, thus showers are definitely unisex.

If you are looking for some sort of special luxurous device to wash that body part of yours that we don't have, you won't find it here.

There are heroes, they just haven't been tested enough to reveal themselves as such yet.

If the cluster ever faced an existential crisis that threatened humanity, you bet we'd see heroes. But we've grown stagnant in the absence of such a crisis.

The closest thing to a "crisis" in recent memory was the initial return of Sansha Kuvakei, and indeed, in those days both heroes and villains revealed themselves and took a side. And it turned out to be sort of a wash anyway after a few months.

Only the liberty of the individual assures the prosperity of the whole. And this foundation must be defended.
