I do, because before.. you could buy characters for what you needed right there then pretty much... Not only is there not close to as much characters it was before on the character bazaar market but prizes is pretty outrages. ish, (I don't rage because off the prices, I just miss it. kind of sad that ccp went along with it though, when it was so much resistance. (btw, sorry if my sentences is broken'etc, tierd) lol Shocked

Those characters had history. People would scam Jita with them while their skills trained, then sell them. Or gank, or corp thief, or expended spai.

Who needs the character bazaar any more? Just drop a couple of dozen billion on Skill Injectors, and voila! You've got your very own, hyper-customisable, dedicated Bazaar!

Perfection is a dish best served like wasabi .

I miss trading in the old chars bazaar. It was literally like horse trading. What's the value of this horse compared to that horse? There's no quantifiable way to know. It's just what you think somebody will pay for it, and what you can actually get in the end. Now every SP has a calculable current ISK value, it's scientific. Anyway, was a fun mini-game, with pretty high stakes.

I like to go to the store and get a coke, not something that is only 1 ingredient away from being a coke but costs the same cause the seller can convince me it is the same.
Same thing now, getting what you want for a quantifiable price.

Now that SP doping is a thing, can we get rid of character trading? Roll

no because some people prefer to buy a built character, sometimes there is more to a character than just skills, standings, implants, jump clones etc etc

Yeah... What?
What bit of magic is someone expecting to purchase that's outside of "skills, standings, implants, jump clones etc etc"?

Convenience of not starting a new character, buying injectors then injecting said injectors to then allocate 10's of millions of skillpoints, that sort of magic.

roleplay, name, reputation, history, killboard is that better for you?

Hardly.

Just more reasons to not allow character trading.

/shrug But to each their own. Meh.
