Much to the chagrin of gate-campers gankers and ganker lovers across New Eden, I would like to see a skill which increases the amount of time you are invulnerable after jumping through a gate.

Each level of this skill would increase by 1 minute the amount of time you remain invisible and invulnerable after jumping.

It could by a high level skill. 6x or so.

Such a feature can be quite helpful to those who might need additional time to assess the situation before proceeding. It puts a boot in the *** of gate campers (awwwwww poor babies) who won't know when it is someone who jumped through might decloak to make a run for it. No longer will waiting out 60 seconds be a guarantee of their prey making an appearance. They might need to wait 2 minutes, 3 minutes, up to 6 minutes.

Also this can be useful for someone who's traveling and might want to grab a quick bio after a jump, without having to dock up (save your rage, we've heard it all before).

Also how many have died with expensive ships cargo and implants when they are traveling, get unexpectedly pulled away from their computer during a warp and jump, and don't quite make it back before the 60 seconds expires? Lots I imagine. Happened to me just the other day.

Yes CCP you would have denied that (insert invective) from getting his rocks off and splooging a geyser when that cargo dropped. But are his sociopathic orgasms more important than the rage of the person who was the victim of unfortunate timing of real-life events while playing?

Why is the rage of the victim more important than the fun of the ganker? That's the claim you're making, but you never outline why.

Here's what I'd be able to do after 6 minute skill.

I could gank freighter on top of gate and loot it with my freighter and go suspect.

Oh no I got tackled by 30 dudes.
But wait I don't care I have a bump machariel that bumps me to the gate, I jump 10 seconds later, lose 30% ehp, I wait 6 seconds on other side and repeat, then I do it again and again and oh wait limited engagement timer is 5 minutes gatecloak is 6 minutes, lol freighter saved.

Anyways that's just one way I could use this to get out of tough situations.

1 minute gatecloak is just enough, I would argue it's too long but it has saved me a few times so it's a good balance to me.

As a blockade runner, this feature actually infringes on my ability to blockade run.

OK I do not like the OP idea either but I simply cannot let this one pass.

Why is the fun of the ganker more important than the anger of the victim?

And do not give me the same tired crap about not safe anywhere that does not answer the question of why the gankers fun is more important than the victims anger.

there is already enough counters to gatecampers, mwd cloak trick on every ship, blockade runners, stabs, ceptors, a 6min cloak timer so you can go take a pee isnt really valid, will you want it extended to 15min timer incase you need a poo?

the best thing to do as already been mentioned is get of the gate asap, sitting afk on a gate isnt going to end well

Thank you for honesty and not going with a traditional cop out about not being safe.

Publicly CCP supports ganking as a valid playstyle and yet as you and many others on the forums note they turn around make changes to the game that make it more difficult, gives one cause to wonder what CCP real position on the issue is.
