EVE uses all my CPU.

Since the cap changes I am having terrible performance issues with my eve clients.

I have noticed on the task manager that when I am running all three accounts, each client is using roughly 33% of my CPU. So with my three accounts running I am capped out at 99% CPU useage which makes eve very unpleasant to play.
It becomes very tedious indeed even opening up any inventory hanger due to the delay in anything showing up.

Why does eve suddenly use so much CPU ?

For info my current setup is as follows :-

Windows 10
Intel Core2 Quad CPU Q8400 @ 2.66hz.
4 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I noticed my load has also increased . Eve use to run about 2-4% of cpu per client now its 4%-11%

My client was working fine last night but now has Extremely High CPU and Memory Usage.

We're talking +50% CPU and 600 MB memory usage atm...

Has worked fine for YEARS!!!

I realize that I misspoke when I said the computer I tested was not that far off the OP's in performance. Turns out the computer on which I tested is about twice as fast as either Mad Phsycho's or pajedas's

These processors are very near our minimum recommended specification. It's not too surprising that you would find that running multiple clients is problematic from a CPU standpoint.

I'm not sure what change in recent patches might have made the CPU load worse than it was before, but generally I'd suggest using a "recommended" system or better for multiple-client use.

I have been considering upgrading my motherboard and processor for some time.
I suppose it is now time to bite the bullet and get the upgrade I need.
