Shadow of the serpent...what to do?

Can't seem to find ccp's guide as to..... what to do, where to go etc.

All I see is a scope network thing on my screen. and a few missioins
But wtf am I supposed to do ?

I been playing a few years and i'm totally puzzled.......what on earth are new players gonna think?

Do the missions. The guards can be found hanging out at gates dont know about elsewhere. if it doesnt specify a pirate than any pirate will do i think. For the sites, you need to have beacons enabled on your overview. You dont need to solo it to get credit just show up and kill something really. I do some sites that have up to 10 people running them at once.

You might need to update your Overview settings. I had to ajust mine, since this event wasn't showing on my Overview.

Click overview tab > click "open overview settings" > search bar: "event" > check all Serpentis, Angel, and event vault boxes > search bar: "beacon" > check the box

Everything is now enabled for the current events

Thanks for helping out, but I don't see the event listed in the overview settings menu?.

Switch to "all" tab while running the event.

I was looking for those sites in probe menu for better part of the day...
My low IQ and outdated ID system that requires manual changes each time a new npc/ ship/ site is added to the game is to blame.

Check overview settings each update or die to a ship you don't see >__<

Can't see any guides with a quick google skim, but there's a CZ article here, a reddit topic here with some feedback regarding rewards, and there's a few youtube vids floating about. Make sure to skim the comments to get a sense of the discussion. There's also a few streamers running the sites on twitch - check out eve_nt - I noticed one of their streamers running the sites the other day.

Thing with these short events - publishing full guides ruins the fun in some ways for people who want to try them out - plus they're short so by the time a definitive guide is released they're winding down. If you need further one-on-one help ingame try ask in some of these comment sections linked if there are any ingame player event channels about you can join. If there aren't any at the moment, but you ask the right person, might get one set up. Or you could start your own.

If you don't get any useful info here, perhaps click the report (flag icon) in your original post and request the mods move the topic here, might get some decent answers there.
