so if i like the docking animation but hate the dynamic fov and offset

good job on lumping these options together, now i have to turn off the docking animation (which i like) so i can turn off the other crap option i don't like

why are you having such a hard time with this new camera???

how can a new camera offer less customisation and options than the old one? that's not progress

Yeah man i agree that maybe they shouldn't decrease the options for camera customization, but ranting about it won't help either.

:( liked docking animation too. It was awesome to see how the lights reflected on ship

Damnit, this sucks. I like the docking/undocking animation, but I hate the dynamic camera offset. Why are all these settings lumped together?

Hopefully, now that they've laid the groundwork for any kind of customization at all, via the toggle, it can be separated out for more granular customization. One step at a time, but at least a step has been taken.

Yeah, I can't think of a thing this game needs more than ten or twelve camera control buttons.

I just want separate Depp of Field option, and change that fisheye FOV with camera options turned off...

Make an ad of the docking animation and submit it to CCP so you can watch it on the screens. :)

Seriously though. IKR? CCP seem to be making this much harder than it needs to be.

I do agree though, seems a bit dumb lumping it all in together. I didn't mind the docking animations, but I usually don't have the dynamic camera offset on. It's hardly worth mentioning though as of all the things that trouble me in life this is pretty much on the bottom.

I think what can be learned from this whole debacle is that you can't please everyone.

Oh, I doubt that, to be honest. I think we were lucky enough to get that much, all things considered.

Let me try this another way. I, for ONE, am in the camp of: It it's a matter of spending time making the eye-candy portion of the show more micro-adjustable for those who just can't help believing with ten or twelve knobs and buttons they can make the PERFECT picture, OR spending time sharpening the pew pew performance of the game... PEW PEW ALLAWAY, screw the eye-candy. After all, this is EVE, not a multi-dimensional EtchaSketch.

(Though it is fast becoming: "Don't fill their cup and they won't claim you owe them a bigger one.")
