Null Sec - Drone Space or Faction Rat Space

Hey everyone, about a month ago I came back to the game from a year break. In that time I have joined a nice sized alliance in drone space. The alliance is great but I have been contemplating a move due to lack of activity during my TZ. My question is, which space is better for ratting as a way of making ISK? I am currently using a Rattlesnake and will be in a carrier within 2 months.

From what I can see most faction rats have similar bounties and slightly better special spawns rates, they also drop random modules which i would expect to further increase profit. Like i said though i have been gone a year so I would appreciate any info from people who live in these areas.

With rattlesnake you don't want to move to sansha or blood raider space, EM hole is huge and to plug it you waste 1-2 slots that could otherwise go towards better damage application. All other regions ok, Angels probably best since you can go even more glass cannon.

Awesome thanks for the advice. Is there a big difference profit wise between drone and faction rat space?

I havent killed drones really since they had bounties and stopped pooping. I get about 30 mil for running a haven in bounty, what do you get for the drone equivalent? I also get 7-15 mil in salvage and loot but that takes a few minutes extra to collect.

Serpentis or guristas would be my first choices for where to rat with a rattlesnake. Dont really need a big tank if you use the rattlesnake properly. i find 1000 -1200 dps tank to be sufficient for most sites. If you do rats that you need to shoot kin/therm you can do full dps. You will lose about 4-5% of your DPS shooting angels.

In my Rattle I usually get around 28mil per tick in just bounties when doing Drone Hordes. I dont salvage since blitzing is a lot more efficient.

You will probably make a bit more per tick shooting rats such as guristas or serpentis. Though you should already be using thermal against drones.
