is ISBoxer allowed

i was wondering if using isboxer as a program, just so you can see everything going on on the screen is ok, i'am aware you cannot use the auto broadcast as this is a bannable offence, i just want a program so i can show my 5 accounts on 1 screen without alt tabbing

any ideas ?

It's allowed but you cannot input broadcast, and you need to show the full window on each account (you can't pick just a part of the UI)

On the UI portion I interpret the opposite from the post quoted by Lex.

Specifically I can place/rearrange the EVE UI windows anywhere on my desktop I wish

You can arrange the Eve clients anywhere you want.

What you can't do is take an UI element of one client and overlay it onto another client. Or take it and place it in its own window on your desktop.

Could someone point me where the UI part is mentioned? The Thread has 250+ pages. The UI part would render ISBoxer almost useless.

sadly there is never 100% certainty with these things. if you look at PLH (pirates little helper) for example. I use that tool too and it gives you intel about players faster than the manual searching method in the killboards as the tool gather this information and compiles it for you. yet it is allowed and even had it's own thread in the forums. If CCP would disable the function to copy a player's name in the clipboard with CTRL+C the tool would be useless for me immediatly.

Same things about fitting programs. If you couldn't use them you would have to either calculate your fittings yourself with all the skills you have or have not. or you buy tons of modules to test fits out ingame. That is a huge advantage. Yet it is allowed.

it's clear that stuff like input automation and reading data directly from the client is a no go. But if you read the rules it specificaly says "everything that gives you an unfair advantage". Well all those things give me an advantage if i choose to use them (PLH and fitting tools that is).

Actually it doesnt say "everything that gives you an unfair advantage." What it does say is that its at their discretion to make determinations as they arise. The only "sadly" is that no matter how many times they clarify whats allowed and what isnt ppl will continue to try to talk their way into loopholes and try to make things cloudy that arent.

I switched to https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=246157 aka eve preview to give me the multiple screen functionally isboxer did and desubbed 10 accounts I could no longer use once input broadcasting was no longer allowed.

My understanding is using the functionality of isboxer to cut the client windows and hiding parts of the ui is also now not allowed.

If I were to setup massive multibox ops I think I could easilly rearrange uis within eve itself to big amounts of small windows with just overview hud visible per window....

whats the fun in it though?
