Posting here after going through the support ticket system and being told over a period of weeks to update my drivers and try running on dx9 mode, neither of which worked and then they marked my ticket solved.

Since the citadel release I am getting hard freezes, where my only option is to hold down the power button and boot back up. No other game does this, no other program does this. Has anybody else seen this? I love this game but am at wit's end. Living in wormholes is hazardous enough without never knowing when I have to power my computer back up.

I have had this too...... even lost ship to it first time it happened

latest Nvidia drivers from nvidia site, win OS 10 fast track (build 14379rs1_release.160627-1607)

Looking thro event logs saw this "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding" as probable cause as next events are restart sequence

15:30 happened again.. Proir to system freeze several mini freezes occured (nothing in event logs that i could see) and on hard reboot configuration of colour theme was reverted to default as had all window positions.

16:12 Loss of a Hininn to same issue, not amused now

already dead, just haven´t fallen over yet....
