Removal of GTM and DoubleClick (GUI 1.985)

Today we have decided to (at least for the moment) disable Google Tag Manager (and therefore DoubleClick) in the release version of the launcher. Those of you who have been using the Development version of the launcher lately to bypass the certificate error because of GTM should now be able to use the Release version again.

EDIT: GUI 1.988 has been deployed to fix issue where launcher refused to launch game.

My problem seems unique...the new launcher itself won't run. I run the evelauncher.exe and the nothing happens. I then get a crash report in the launcher folder and a .dmp file.

30th tomorrow so won't be able to play anymore.

after try to launch, if you hit ctrl+alt+delete select 'Task manager' look under 'applications' tab do you see the evelauncher.exe listed there? then check processes, do you see Launcher for EvE Online (32 bit)

I'm trying to nail down if your launcher is actually registering as launched or is it being suspended by other software.

Myself, I have had '0' issues with any of the new launchers deployed. Not a single issue. I do to pose this question, why did you not take the free windows 10 upgrade for win 7 unless you are using the win7 basic.

Have you tried running the launcher as admin?

It would be great if you could send us a bug-report with the launcher logs attached. You can find the logs at %LOCALAPPDATA%/CCP/EVE/Launcher.
