-Preview windows disappear for some of my clients
-I can't go below 100 x 80
-I have to place all my preview windows in place every time I use.

Read 3 or 4 posts up a recipe for maximum thumbnail size. There is a similar setting for minimum thumbnail size as well. It is configurable via the .JSON file

Before or after you log chars on these EVE clients?
Wjen EVE client sits on the char selection screen there is NO way to tell its account name, so default preview position is used. This will be the case until (if) some kind of preview windows docking will be implemented

After I log in, I open your programs. I can't get my previews set up because lol they either vanish from the screen or will auto rearrange across two of my screens.

Latest version still occasionally shrinks the preview size without reason. I have sent you the config (on another character).

So if I minimise Window 1, Window 2 is behind it and now active. When I use EVE-O to switch back to Window 1 - Window 1 is now moved.

This was reproducible on previous eve-o

Could you somehow pay attention on what exactly you do when this happens?

Start the laucnher and eve-o-preview; start clients; size is shrunk from 320x180 to 314x151.

if i login with more than one account at the same time using the "Remember this account" option of the launcher my preview windows stack, and its not possible so seperate them. so i have to login one client after the other to make eve-o-preview work. is this multi client login not supported (yet) or am i doing something wrong?

p.s.: thx for taking over the project.

If you mean that previews are stacked AFTER you started the clients but BEFORE you actually login chars in these clients - then this is completely expected (at least atm). All EVE clients at this moment have the same client title and it is not possible to distinguish them. I am thinking about some auto-arrangement for previews? but there's no such feature right now.

After you login chars previews should go to their places. If I misunderstood you then could you make a screenshot of this?

ah ok i see it. once i'm fully logged in there is no problem with the previews any more. awesome, so i actually can use multi login and eve-o-preview :)

greetings first up thanks for keeping up the program its been a life saver
any now down to the issues
every once in a while tho more frequently
after having all my accounts logged in and ready then starting up this program ( eve-o)
the positions of some of the clients are not remembered,
they change to a default location,
eve-o prev - thats what it should be

causing me to have to re arange them again and again each time to get them into the right place
ive even taken to saving a back up of the correct location of all the windows but it dosent seem to like it when i manually override the json file in this manner,
it seems to work fine for the next few tries of the app, but then once i reboot again it then resets

using 2.0.1 (note i have tried using 2.0 - same issues)
windows 10,
if anything else is needed please just ask


ill reboot one more time now to see if i can get it to reproduce the buggered up configs and link that as well

its a perfect example of it becoming unstuck
even if i edit it by copy pasta from my back up file it fails, i need to manually rearrange the the windows to close to the correct position
then using a text editor ... ( notepad ++ ) i manually edit the x,y pos of the windows and sometimes that dosent even work

Was just wondering if it's possible to resize previews independently? (I believe the option was "Synchronise Resizing" in the old version. I have monitors of different aspect ratios, and this means some previews have white bars to accommodate.

It does look like this option is gone and looking at the .json file there is just one line "ThumbnailSize": "650, 350"

Sorry, it is not available atm.

Still it is technically possible to save positions AND sizes of each preview independently. I'll log an issue re this.

Sorry, somehow I missed the thread notification and was too busy with some RL stuff...

What is your monitor configuration? Mean, thumbnail positions are NEGATIVE - this could cause most of the issues.
