Can we have the in station billboards more interactive? Maybe let us click on something for related news or media?

The last "Turn Off The Damned Billboards" thread is currently at 112 posts, with much chest thumping, gnashing of teeth and name calling, especially from the "What's Wrong With The Billboards?" crew. There are many negatives to the in station billboards, all thoroughly explained on and on and on in the previous thread. But we still got the things, hopefully this thread will do better than the last.

Forum Rep for a bunch of characters, couple corps and one seriously Lost In Space multiboxer.

I switched my client to Captains Quarters to get rid of them, and the equally annoying docking animation. It takes twice as long to load but it's better than the flashing billboards.

With all the useful stuff in their backlog, it's hard to understand how these annoyances made it to the top of the priority list for development time!

In Citadels, they should be controlled by the owner of the Citadel.
Why would we have ads for REDs in our? Shocked

You can turn them off, not sure how, but I dont see the ads.

When I play on my transistor-enhanced potato (cheap laptop) with everything on low -> no billboard.
Seems like the best way to avoid ads in EVE is to be a peasant :3...
