Launcher can't load content

On Launching the launcher, I get the following:

Refreshing doesn't do anything.
I can open the specified web address in my normal browser, and it partially loads (obviously Chrome isn't intended to run the launcher page, but the point is that the page address and routing from my PC works fine)
I can ping and Traceroute with the launcher tools just fine.
I've tried reinstalling a clean version of the launcher, but I get the same error.

Advice please?
