How long should you give somone after sending isk for transfer?

i apologize if this is the wrong place to post this but i couldnt think of a more relevant forum and I could not find any general rule of thumb in the stickies. After sending someone isk for a char, how long should you give them before you become concerned and need to contact customer support? 24 hrs? 48 hrs? Cant find any info on it. The guy i was buying from asked for isk and acc info and they would start transfer. I sent both 3 minutes after his mail and i havent heard back since. Been 24 hrs. Just curious how long people usually give?

If he said he started the transfer, I would petition as soon as 10 hours after you sent the money, if you didn't hear from him, 24 hours. Then you petition
