How skilled are Eve players?

Has a dev ever posted a graph that shows how skilled Eve players are? For example, what % of 'active' players have more than 10 million skill points? 50 million skill points?

Is this something that can be seen by using a 3rd party app?

Up until a few years ago, the Dev team would occasionally provide such information. Chribba's eveboard site now provides the best resource.

Of course, that site only gives info for the characters that are registered specifically on that site. That's probably a significant percentage, but nowhere near the full number of characters.

Considering the distribution, this is most likely an accurate enough sample of all pilots.
