im getting the same issue, i just resubbed my account 5 days ago, it let me log in once, after that it starting showing the error. spent money on a broken damn game. and ccp told me to **** off, its our money now by deleting my support ticket.

There is a new update to the GUI out today (https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=485342) Please post here if this issue has been fixed for you or not. We will continue to monitor and look into this problem.

My damn browser wont even load, i downloaded the client, and every time i try to open i get a Certifcate error, IT WILL NEVER GO PAST THAT< I PAID MY SUB TO GET RIPPED OFF

After getting that damn certificate error and mashing buttons a few times I got the new launcher thingy to work. Call me a rose-tinted-glasses, starry-eyed idealist but I'd sorta hoped that the new launcher would have been properly tested and fixed before CCP started to make it mandatory.

Yesterday we released a patch that removed Google Tag Manager, and subsequently DoubleClick from the launcher. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=486122&find=unread

The issue of certificate errors should therefore be fixed for those who have been experiencing problems relating to those services.

Your link states the fix is in 1.988.

I am using launcher 1045952.1.989 and I an still seeing the "SSL handshake failed" issue so whatever your fix is it appears unrelated.

I opened a new support request and attached the log, Support Request #216852.

I can always play on another computer until it's resolved...then it will be harder to me to gate camp without 2 screens though Lol

I've been having this blasted cert error for three days now and no idea how to fix it. Anybody have any ideas? I've posted, I've searched forums, I've filed bug report, no response. This happened on both my comps (1 mac, 1 windows) after I moved RL. Anybody help please.

I can get on by bypassing the launcher entirely. But I can't get the launcher to launch any of my accounts.

My launcher launches itself fine.
My accounts are still in it.
If I click the little Triangle to the left of my character name, it turns into a square as if it is starting.
6 seconds later, the square turns back into a triangle and nothing else happens.

I'm having the exact same issue today since the newest update. Launcher is up to date and everything accounts are loaded in, but game won't launch from the Launcher.

P.S. How to we bypass the launcher? I've been out of the game since February and with the new launcher I can't find where to launch the game directly anymore.

If you can get launcher to not lose focus, or stop responding I accidently stumbled onto something today after 6 weeks of launcher frustrations, when launcher is open look at top right of the launcher box, you will see an "X" , min/max plus Eve icon drop box, select settings then select "ignore certifications" .

I didn't even need to restart the launcher the dam thing came back from frozen and downloaded everything, not the 0.3 % its done every time I have tried to launch.......So certs......
