Hi folks,

So I was just reading the news. You know, the Scope. That totally unbiased, independent news agency.

So they have this article.

In it I read...

"A source within the DED has informed the Scope they are aggressively pursuing the investigation but despite increased patrols across the cluster they are yet to encounter any evidence of so-called “supercapital” tech being operated by the Serpentis."

So that's it. Move along. Nothing to see here. Go home ya lookie loos. Ignore that Shadow Serpentis Dreadnought over there. It's just a scan error or something. Nope, that's totally not a Titan. Honest!

Trust Odo Korachi. Odo Korachi is your friend. Odo Korachi would never lie to you or omit the truth. The Scope is unbiased. The Scope reports the news. You can trust the Scope.

Or they just don't want to say that they have something on the matter. It may be too early for that. That is a rational thing to suppose.

Serentis and Angels are not Drifters, I am sure they actively monitor news outlets and information streams in general.

Yeah, good luck convincing all the capsuleers to not do exactly that.

We all know how well that went the last 300,000,000 times they asked that.....

Don't talk about things you're ignorant of.

I live in Fade, we've destroyed at least a handful of these titans and countless dreadnoughts. A super carrier wouldn't be out of the reach of reason if they've already figured out titans.

Unless that was sarcasm, in which case, carry on my good man.

I believe my associates, Ms. Wang and Ms. Vailatti were attempting to be humorous.

As we see in today's news, Ms. Ambre's report was simply an attempt to lull Serpentis into some kind of false sense of security.

So, propaganda. As I've stated.

The destruction of one shipyard, while unfortunate, will not curb Serpentis' efforts one iota. Just as the continued destruction of their new fleets in Fade does nothing to hamper their efforts. If anything, it only serves to make them stronger, deadlier.

But there is a difference. When we (Pandemic Horde) attack a Serpentis fleet or ship in Fade, we're fighting military forces for strategic reasons. This was yet another attack on a non-combatant population by forces loyal to CONCORD. There was no attempt at arrest. No trial. No due process. No adherence to law. The workers who cleaned the hallways, who served food, who tended to the ill were painted with the same brush as those who commit actual "crimes," and died for merely being an "accessory."

The report, while skewed in favor of CONCORD and Federation interests (how surprising) does mention, "... intercepted and decoded communications from the attackers has revealed that a sizeable amount of equipment and blueprints were stolen during the attack..." But we are the criminals?

If you're of the opinion that "they were criminals and they got what they deserved," consider this. Remove the names. Now replace them with your own, specific loyalist identity. For example, replace "Serpentis' Homeworld" with "Perimeter" or "Rens" or "Khanid Prime." Now how does it sound? Would you be be so tolerant of CONCORD and the DED's actions then? I think not.

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. CONCORD, the DED , Intara Direct Action and their allies have sown the winds of war. They will reap the whirlwind. Angels...are never far.

I have been in contact with associates within the Guardian Angels organization. We're currently investigating the death toll on the planet below (more innocent lives lost) and organizing a relief effort for the planet's civilian population. I have asked my associate Ms. Vailatti to accept and coordinate all donations and offers of aid from her office at Jita IV. Medical assistance and personnel are the priority. To our friends, thank you, in advance, for your support.

No, you're a straight up criminal like the rest of PanFam. It's the people we have on our planets in Fade and in our citadels that I'm ultimately concerned about.

Funny...

That's just what I was thinking.

But we're the criminals?

Because at the end of the day they're more concerned with us than them, much like everyone posting here who flys in combat scenarios. If any of us really cared for them more than attacking each other would we undock?

This seems fishy.... is Scope the new velvet glove for CONCORD's iron fist? What does Scope have to gain from all this? Will Timmy ever get the courage to ask Sally to the dance?
