Hi,

I am new to mission running and am looking to fly the Vargur for level 4 security missions.

Could anyone recommend which faction/corp to run missions for?

Is there a best corp? Would the vargur be faster running missions for a specific faction?

p.s. I have looked at a few fits for the Vargur but they vary alot. Could anyone recommend a solid level 4 vargur?

Thank you in advance <3

most people do sister's of eve

Use that to make your own judgements.

I would personally try Thukker Mix, their cap batteries are getting extremely popular now since their buff and I have a personal interest in seeing the price drop ;D

Vargur is massive overkill for a level 4 mission, if you want to use autocannons I would suggest a machariel. It's a lot faster and you'll end up getting more missions done with it.

If you're after maximising isk, then blitzing missions for thukker or soe with a mach will serve you best. If you're just after a bit of no stress missioning, run for anyone in a vargur,

There's no best fit for vargur, but ac's, tractor and bastion, two slot shield tank, mwd, and the rest for Max dps, dps application and projection, mobility, and a sebo with scan resolution script is also useful.

Vargur is a great ship for L4 missions. It's fun to blap rats with impunity. The Mach has more blitzing ability, but the Vargur is great for clearning all the rats and looting the battleships.

Check Eve- Survival for ammo recommendations for each mission. Tank is strong enough to run a generic fit so you don't have to bother swapping mods for each faction.

Do a google search on this website for 'vargur fits'. it hasn't changed in a long time so you don't have to look for something recent. High's and Low's are pretty standard, but you can play around with the mid slots. For example: Micro Jump Drive (can skip for more tank or target painter or tracking computer), Size of the Shield Booster (x-large, or a medium you can turn on and forget), 100 AB or 500 MWD propulsion.

I would sometimes release salvage drones and a tractor and let them do their thing while I'm killing rats.

While I do have +10 standing with Thukker Mix Corporation, I advise not to run missions for Thukker Tribe Faction. They only have positive standing with Minmatar Republic and Jove Empire.

The reason I say this is years and years ago I use to gain Thukker LP's to sell Thukker Shield Extenders. In doing so, I found myself almost locked out from most of Empire Space. That's very bad for business when you can't transport goods to Market. After 3 months of research I finally created the 'Faction Standing Repair Plan' and started the long task of repairing my negative Faction standings.

Course in the process of doing that, I stopped doing missions for Thukker Tribe which in turn stopped my business of selling Thukker Shield Extenders.

Oh well, that's what happens when you're space truckin' as a Diplomat.

Yeah, I know that and I could also decline the Storyline mission offers as well.

However I found a better business doing Exploration and Event Agent missions.
