OK, I took a few months off and returned yesterday to discover that Carriers now have launch tubes? None of my fighters will load in these tubes. I emptied out the bay, then placed 5 Cyclops in the bay. Dragging it into the plus symbol in the bay it says cannot load Cyclops into Launch tube your ship cannot handle anymore heavy squadrons. I am sorely confused. Is there something I have to train? I have tried all kinds of ways of dragging them in there, from inventory to there, from the bay to there, nothing is working.

The Cyclops is a heavy fighter, usable only by Supercarriers.

The description of the Thanatos states: "Can launch light and support fighters"

One thing you might want to do is make sure your F1-F3 hotkeys do not have modules in them. Giving fighters orders and accidentally lighting a cyno or (de)activating your networked sensor array instead is not fun.

And as others have said, a cyclops is for supercarriers only.
