i realize that this has been asid probally already, but i have my own corp, very small at this point. i use planetary resources to generate cash passively, but the taxation at the poco's in Elanaya is rediculous, what I could get off the planet for a few hundred thousand before, is gonna cost be almost 1.5 million now. i can't even get it off world...... intollerable. thats worth more than i can fetch for the materials even in Jita. is there a cap that ppl can set there rates too

You could always hire mercs to slap the owner about for a week, maby take the pocos and set a reasonable rate yourself.

The POCO owner can set taxes to whatever he likes. If he wants to make money he'll set it to something reasonable, if he wants to be a jerk and keep people from using it he'll set it to 100%. Your only options are to move your operations or wardec/hire mercs.

I'm going to build a big wall that will keep the Gallente out, and they're going to pay for it!

You can always launch from your control pad. It's much slower and you can't import, but you circumvent the players tax (and just have the npc tax when in high).

When I was running PI in HS I would search in a 3 jump range for the best POCO rates which meant I would farm P2 on a single planet to reduce hauling.

What's really annoying is when you find a good POCO and then they bump up the rate because they know it's too much effort to relocate.

I've heard some players contact the POCO owner and attempt to negotiate.

I have only ever done PI in a wormhole, zero tax, the fact the tax rate can be set anything above 0 is reason enough not to do it.

Also, you are the problem, yes you. By continuing to use the same planets you are paying the corp who own the poco, move planets.

If brute force isn't working, you're just not using enough.
